Jared Binsfeld hit a solo HR to lead off the bottom of the 7th to walk off 4-3 over the Lethbridge Elks.  Adam Macko started on the mound giving up 3 runs in the 1st inning before cruising 7 innings allowing 3 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned runs with 2 BB’s and 7 K’s.

Offensively, the Jets had a balanced attack against former Jet Bryce Fraser.  Liam Vulcano was 1 for 3.  Jared Binsfeld was 2 for 4 with a single and HR.  Dayton Peters was 1 for 2 with a double.  Ben Erwin was 1 for 3 with an RBI and Matt Rath finished things off going 2 for 2 with an RBI.

The Jets are very short handed this weekend with 4 players away with the Canadian Junior National Team and the flu bug making its way through the team.
