It was a tight game through 3 innings before the Jets scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 4th to cruise to an 8-2 victory.

Garrick Nicholson started on the mound going 5 innings allowing 3 hits, 2 runs with 5 BB’s and 4 K’s.  Zach Newman threw a clean inning allowing 1 hit with 3 K’s.  Garrett Hawkins finished things off going 1 inning with 2 K’s.

Offensively, the Jets were led by Liam Vulcano who was 2 for 4 with an RBI.  Owen Harms was 1 for 3 with an RBI.  Brett Mercier was 1 for 2.  Jared Binsfeld was 2 for 4 with an RBI.  Cooper Jones was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s.  Dayton Peters was 1 for 3 with a 2 run HR.  Ty Penner was 1 for 3 and Matt Rath was 1 for 3 to round out the offense.
