Jets came out ready to play with a couple of victories over North Delta Blue Jays 9-1 then Langley Blaze 11-4.
Game 1 saw Levi Abbott start on the mound going 5 innings allowing 0 hits, 1 unearned run with 3 BB’s and 5 K’s. Justin Adamoski finished things off going 1 inning allowing 1 hit with 2 K’s. Offensively, the Jets were led by John Vulcano was 3 for 4 with an RBI. Dayton Peters was 1 for 2. Max Grant was 3 for 3 with 4 RBI’s. Evan O’Toole was 1 for 3 with an RBI. Logan Grant was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Ty Wevers was 1 for 3 and Logan Domanski was 1 for 3.
Game 2 started as a battle of 2 top arms in Canada. Adam started on the mound for the Jets going 5 innings allowing 2 hits, 2 unearned runs with 0 BB’s and 9 K’s. Matt Wiggins threw 1 inning allowing 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned run with 1 BB and 1 K. Reece Keller finished things off going 1 inning allowing 1 hit with 3 K’s. Offensively, the Jets were led by John Vulcano who was 4 for 4 with an RBI and a double. Max Grant was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Dayton Peters was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI’s and a double. Carlin Dick was 1 for 5 with 2 RBI’s. Shayne Campbell was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s. Josh Malainey was 1 for 3 and Nick Gravel was 1 for 2.
Jets will now take on North Shore Twin tomorrow at 2 pm at Norbrock Stadium.
