Lethbridge, AB –

The Jets split on a beautiful day at Nolan Yard in Lethbridge.  The VAB lost game 1 by a score of 12 – 7 and won game 2 13-4.

Game 1 saw Evan O’Toole start on the mound going 2 innings allowing 4 hits, 3 runs with 1 K.  Thomas Little threw 1 inning allowing 2 hits, 1 earned run with 2 BB’s and 1 K.  Chase Florendine threw 2 innings allowing 3 hits with 2 BB’s and 1 K.  Nick Gravel threw the final inning allowing 1 hit, 1 run with 2 K’s.  Offensively, the Jets were led Josh Malainey was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.  John Vulcano was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s.  Carlin Dick was 1 for 4 with an RBI.  Max Grant was 1 for 2.  Ben Adams was 1 for 3 with an RBI.  Logan Domanski was 2 for 3 to round out the offense.

Game 2 saw Levi Abbott start on the mound going 3 innings allowing 4 hits, 2 runs with 3 K’s.  Ben Adams was dominate going 2 innings allowing 1 unearned run with 1 BB and 6 K’s.  Adam Macko threw 1 inning allowing 1 hit with 3 K’s.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Josh Malainey who was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.  John Vulcano was 2 for 4 with 2 triples and 5 RBI’s.  Evan O’Toole was 2 for 4 with a triple.  Carlin Dick was 2 for 4 with an RBI.  Shayne Campbell was 1 for 4.  Max Grant was 2 for 4 with an RBI.  Logan Domanski rounded out the offense going 2 for 3 with an RBI.
