The Jets found their backs against the wall with a 5-1 deficit in the 5th inning before coming from behind to beat White Rock 7-5. Brandon Hatley started and threw well going 4 innings allowing 6 hits, 5 runs, 3 earned runs allowing 3 BB’s with 4 K’s. Bryce Fraser threw 3 innings allowing 1 hit with 2 K’s and 1 BB. Offensively, the Jets were led by Jordan Dray who was 1 for 3. Victor Cerny was 2 for 4. Damiano Palmegiani was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Jordan Malainey was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s. Ben Erwin was 2 for 3 with an RBI to round out the offense.
Game 2 saw the Jets jump out early cruising to a 9-1 victory. Josh Burgmann started on the mound and was very good going 5 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 run with 2 BB’s and 4 K’s. Offensively, the Jets were led by Matt Rath who was 1 for 4 with an RBI. Jordan Dray was 1 for 3. Victor Cerny was 2 for 3 with a double. Damiano Palmegiani was 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 RBI’s. Jordan Malainey was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Liam Vulcano was 1 for 2. Spencer Rankin was 1 for 3 with an RBI. Tyler Wood rounded out the offense going 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s.
