Calgary, AB –

The VAB ended up losing 2 game vs U of C by scores of 6-5 and 12-11.  Game 1 Ben Onyshko started going 4 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 run with 1 BB and 1 K.  Nic Stobbe threw 1 2/3 innings allowing 3 hits, 5 unearned runs 1 BB.  Jeese Borden closed things out going 1/3 of an inning allowing 1 hit.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Justin Clarkson who was 1 for 3 with 2 runs scored.  Jager Toffan was 1for 3 with 2 runs scored.  Brayden Resch was2 for 3 with 4 RBI’s to round out a good offensive day.

Game 2 saw the Jets lose by a score of 12-11.  On the mound Luc Hebert started on the mound going 3 innings allowing 5 hits, 4 runs, 1 earned run with 2 BB’s.  Nelson Quark threw 2 2/3 innings allowing 3 hits, 6 runs, 1 earned run with 2 BB’s.  Nathan Haroldson threw the final 2/3 of an inning allowing 3 hits, 2 runs with 1 BB and 1 K.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Justin Clarkson who was 1 for 3 with an RBI.  Anthony McKinley was 1 for 1 with 2 RBI’s.  Nolan Bumstead was 1 for 4 with an RBI.   Nolan Rattai was 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored.  Jose Calderon was 2 for 4 with 2 triples and 3 RBI’s.  Brett Harrison was 1 for 4 with RBI’s.
