Game 1 saw the Jets win by a score of 12-0 behind a strong performance by Levi Westerlund who went 7 innings allowing 0 runs, 3 hits, 5 K’s with 1 BB. Offensively, the Jets were led by Luke Barry who was 3 for 4 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. Kym Barthel was 3 for 5 with 1 RBI, 4 runs scored, with 1 double. Ben Douglas was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s, 1 run scored and 1 BB. Brendan Hendriks was 4 for 4 with 1 RBI, 1 run scored and 1 BB. Curtis Mazerkuwich was also 2 for 4 with a double and 1 RBI. Chad Hodges rounded out the offense going 1 for 3 with 2 runs scored 2 RBI’s and 1 BB.
Game 2 saw the Jets come out on top by a score of 12-5. Paul Schaak pitched well to earn the victory going 4 innings allowing 0 runs, 3 hits, 1 BB with 7 K’s. Brody McDonald earned the save going the final 3 innings allowing 5 unearned runs, 3 hits, 2 BB’s and 2 K’s. Offensively, the Jets were led by Luke Barry who was 1 for 4 with 3 RBI’s, 1 double and 1 BB. Greg Adams was 1 for 4 with 1 run scored. Kym Barthel was 1 for 4 with 1 run scored and 1 BB. Ben Douglas was 2 for 5 with 2 runs scored and a double. Ben Dartnell was 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI. Brendan Hendriks was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, 2 RBI’s and a BB. Blair Balog and Marc St. Jean also had 1 hit each.
