The Jets came out ready to play in game 1 and it continued for the entire day. Game 1 saw the Jets win by a score of 5-1 and won game 2 11-6.
Jesse Borden started on the mound going 5 2/3 innings allowing 5 hits, 1 run with 2 BB’s and 6 K’s. Jared Kennedy closed things out earning a save going 1 1/3 innings allowing 2 BB’s and 3 K’s. Offensively, the Jets were led by Ty Scott who was 3 for 4. Joel Mazurkewich was 1 for 4. Brayden Resch was 2 for 2 with a double and an RBI. Trey Grant was 1 for 3 with an RBI. Nolan Rattai rounded out the offense going 1 for 1 with a double and 2 RBI’s.
Game 2 saw Brady Moxham start earning the win going 5 2/3 innings allowing 8 hits, 5 runs, 3 earned runs with 1 BB and 6 K’s. Jake Cook finished things off going 1 1/3 innings allowing 1 hit and 1 run. Offensively, the Jets were led by a big game from Nolan Rattai going 3 for 3 with a double and a HR. Brayden Resch was 2 for 4 with an RBI double. Treyton Grant was 2 for 3 with a HR . Wyatt Schlosser was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s. Brett Harrison was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Joel Mazurkewich was 1 for 3 with an RBI.
The Jets will square off again tomorrow on Easter Sunday with a 1 pm DH vs Dawgs.
