The Jets opened their spring campaign at home with a 5-4 victory before falling 10-4 in game 2.
Game 1 saw Jared Kennedy start on the mound going 5 innings allowing 5 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned runs with 4 BB’s and 6 K’s. Carsen Perkins had a hold going 1 inning allowing 1 run with 2 BB’s and 1 K. Jalen Lane earned the save going 1 clean inning. Offensively, the Jets were led by Tyler Scott who was 1 for 3. Blake Gallagher was 1 for 4. Zack Kunkel was 2 for 3 with a double. Brett Resch was 1 for 4 with a double and 4 RBI’s. Jordan Malainey was 1 for 4 with an RBI. Sean Robbins was 1 for 2 and Geordie McDougall was 1 for 3 to round out the offense.
Game 2 saw the Jets get down 10-0 after 2 innings before PBA cruised to a 10-4 victory. Jake Cook started on mound going 2 innings allowing 5 hits, 8 runs with 5 earned runs 2 BB’s and 3 K’s. KJ Moreno threw well in relief going 5 innings allowing 4 hits, 2 runs, 2 earned runs with 1 BB and 1 K. Offensively, the Jets were led by Tyler Scott who was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Brett Resch was 1 for 3 with a double. Jordan Malainey was 1 for 2 with a HR. Sean Robbins was 1 for 3, Geordie McDougal was 1 for 3 and Jared Kennedy was 1 for 3.
