Lethbridge, AB –
The Jets opened up a weekend in Lethbridge with a split. The Jets won the 1st game vs PBA by a score of 8-6 and lost game 2 vs U of C by a score of 10-7.
Luc Hebert started on the mound throwing very well going 5 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 BB and 2 K’s. Ben Kennedy went 1 1/3 innings allowing 6 hits, 6 runs, 2 BB’s with 2 K’s. Nolan Rattai earned the save throwing 2/3 inning. Offensively, the Jets were led by Justin Clarkson who was 1 for 4 with 2 RBI’s. Chris Thibideau was 1 for 4 with a triple and an RBI. Jager Toffan was 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Anthony McKinley was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Nolan Bumstead was 1 for 3 with an RBI. Brayden Resch was 1 for 4 and Trey Grant was 1 for 2 with an RBI.
Game 2 saw Nick Stobbe started on the mound going 3 innings allowing 6 hits, 2 earned runs with 1 BB and 1 K. Nathan Haroldson threw 3 innings allowing 1 hit, 1 run, 1 BB and 1 K. Patrick Machibroda threw 1 inning allowing 1 hit, 3 runs with 3 BB’s. Offensively, the Jets were led by Chris Thibideau who was 2 for 3 with a triple and an RBI. Nolan Bumstead was 2 for 4. Nolan Rattai was 3 for 3 with 2 RBI’s. Anthony McKinley rounded out the offense going 1 for 3 with a double.
