Boise, Idaho –
The VAB finished off a successful road trip with a 2-0 loss to CSI. The Jets also attended the Boise State homecoming football game with 50 yard line tickets and enjoyed a true NCAA Division 1 college football experience.
Chad Hodges started on the mound going 5 innings allowing 6 hits, 2 runs, 2 BB’s and battled all game against a very good CSI lineup. Ben Dartnell threw the final 2 innings allowing 3 hits, 0 runs, 1 K and 0 BB’s. Offensively, the Jets only mustered 2 hits off a tough CSI pitching staff. Tyson Zarowny and Greg Adams collected the only VAB hits.
The mini tournament ended up with CSI going 2-0, VAB 2-2, Treasure Valley 2-2 and the Idaho Cubs going 1-4.
Next action for the Jets is next Saturday versus the Prairie Baseball Academy in Lethbridge at Lloyd Nolan Yard.
