The VAB Jets did not show up to play tonight and lost by a score of 8-1 to Team SK.  Tyler Vavra started on the mound and went 5 innings, allowed 1 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned runs, 5 BB’s, 2 HBP’s, and 5 K’s while taking the loss.  Victor Caruso relieved and went the final 2 innings allowing 3 hits, 5 runs, 2 earned, with 2 BB’s and 1 K. 

Offensively, the Jets were led by Tyler Hayes who was 2 for 3 with an RBI and Josh Stephenson was 1 for 3.  The Jets managed only 3 hits and only gave up 4 hits but, allowed 9 free passes and that dictated the ballgame. 

The Jets and Team SK are at it again tomorrow at 1 pm (DH) at Jets Stadium.
