Jets split with Baseball Northwest Seniors!

Pullman, Washington –

The Jets split with Baseball Northwest Seniors on Sunday afternoon at Washington State University.  Game 1 saw the Jets loose 1-0 with Steven Inch starting on the mound going 5 innings allowing 2 hits, 2 BB’s, 5 K’s, with 0 runs.  Brandon Petite took the loss going 1 inning allowing 1 hit, 4 BB’s, 2 K’s, and 1 run.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Tyler Hayes who was 1 for 4 with a double, Adam Nelubowich who was 1 for 3, Josh Stephenson who was 1 for 3 and Austin Cooper who was 2 for 3 with a double and a single. 

Game 2 saw the Jets win by a score of 7-2.  Jordan Wong got the win on the mound going 4 innings allowing 1 hit, 3 BB’s, 4 K’s, and 0 runs.  Austin Cooper threw 1 1/3 innings of relief allowing 3 BB’s, 2 K’s, 2 unearned runs, and 0 hits.  Tyler Vavra earned the save going the final 3 2/3 innings allowing 4 K’s, 1 BB, 0 hits, with 0 runs.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Tyler Hayes who was 2 for 3 with a double and a single, Mike Washburn who was 1 for 4, Jamin Heller who was 1 for 4 with a double, and Adam Nelubowich who was 1 for 4 with a double.

Next action for the Jets is this coming weekend vs Big Sky Juniors in Vauxhall starting a 1 pm (DH). 

The Jets record is now 13-3-1.
