Jets finish up the fall with a couple more victories over Okotoks!

To finish up the fall season the Jets finished up with a couple more victories over the Okotoks Dawgs.  Game 1 saw the Jets win by a score of 10-7 and game 2 was a walk off 7-6.

Game 1 saw Wesley Moore start on the mound going 4 innings allowing 6 hits, 2 earned runs with 3 BB’s and 4 K’s.  Conner Green threw 2 innings allowing 1 hit with 1 BB and 1 K. Kaiden Cardoso finished things off going 1 inning allowing 2 hits, 2 runs with a BB.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Owen Harms who was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI’s.  Victor Cerny was 2 for 3 with an RBI.  Jared Binsfeld was 1 for 4.  Cooper Jones was 1 for 2 with an RBI.

Game 2 saw Garrett Nicholson start on the mound going 4 innings allowing 1 hit, 1 BB and 8 K’s.  Chase Florendine threw 2/3 of an inning allowing 1 hit, 4 runs with 3 BB’s.  Owen Harms earned the victory going 2 1/3 innings allowing 3 hits, 2 runs with 1 BB and 2 K’s.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Liam Vulcano who was 1 for 3.  Cooper Jones was 1 for 3.  Damiano Palmegiani was 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI.  Victor Cerny was 1 for 3 with a 3 run HR.  Brett Mercier was 2 for 3 with an RBI.  Kaiden Cardoso was 1 for 3 with a walk off single and Matt Gough was 1 for 3.

The Jets will now have a good week of practice and conclude the week Thursday with the 11th Annual 100 inning Marathon Game.
