Sunday started off just how we left off on Saturday. On the mound Kyle Muzechka gave us 3 solid innings to earn the victory. Kyle allowed 4 hits, 3 earned runs with 2 K’s and 1 BB. Tyler Vavra threw outstanding in relief going 3 innings allowing 1 hit, no runs, with 4 K’s and 2 BB’s. Tanner Craswell earned the save going 1 inning allowing 1 hit with 2 BB’s but, induced a 6-4-3 double play to end the game. Offensively, we were led by Lionel Morrill who was 2 for 4 with an RBI triple, 2 runs scored and a SB. Cooper, Nelubowich, and Anderson all added one hit a piece.
Game 2 on Sunday did not start out the way we wanted it to . We found ourselves down 6-0 after the 1st inning. Jamin Heller got the start on the mound going 1 inning, allowing 4 hits, 4 earned runs. Cole Stober went 2 2/3 innings allowing 7 hits, 6 earned runs, with 3 K’s and 2 BB’s. Tyson Denham also threw 1/3 of an inning allowing 2 hits, 3 earned runs, and 3 BB’s.  Offensively, we only managed 1 hit – Brandon Petite who ended the game 1 for 2 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Â
Overall, it was a very successful weekend against very good college competition – 2-1-1 was our record. Â
Game 1 was a great game on all ends. The final score ended up 3-3 after 11 innings and it was called to make sure we played the second game. Austin Cooper started on the mound and went 7 strong innings, allowing 6 hits, 2 earned runs, with 3 BB’s and 2K’s. Dale Anderson threw 2 good innings allowing 1 hit with 1 BB and 3 K’s. Tyson Denham through the final 2 innings allowing 1 hit with 2 K’s and 1 BB. Tanner Craswell led the charge offensively going 2-4 with an RBI and 2 SB’s. Anderson, Northcott, and Morrill all added 1 hit a piece.
Game 2 saw another really good baseball game. Brandon Petite went the distance on the mound going 7 innings, allowing 6 hits, with 4 K’s and only allowed 1 earned run. Offensively, we were led by Adam Nelubowich who was 1 for 3 with an RBI and a triple. Dale Anderson also finsihed off a solid day going 2 for 3 with an RBI and a SB.

Offensively, we were led by Adam Nelubowich who was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 runs scored. Tanner Craswell was 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Mark Clauson stole the spot light again going 3 for 5 with 2 RBI’s and 3 runs scored.  Bilodeau, Inch, Petite, Northcott, and Amendt all ended the day with 1 hit and Amendt led the 7th inning off with a double to score the winning run.

The Jets were up 3-0 and St. FX battled back to tie the game at 3 in the 7th inning. Brandon Petite started on the mound and did very well going 6 innings allowing 4 hits, 2 runs, with 8 K’s and 3 BB’s for the no decision. Tanner Craswell got the win with 1 inning of relief.
Offensively, we were led by Chad Northcott who was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 2 2B’s. Mark Clauson hit a game winning 2B in the bottom of the 7th to win the ball game and Tanner Craswell hit a solo HR.
The Jets fell behind early as we were down 6-0 after 2 innings. Austin Cooper got the start on the mound and settled in after the 1st inning and ended up going 6 innings allowing 9 hits 4 earned runs while striking out 4 and walking only 1. Tyson Denham threw the final inning.
Offensively, we battled back and Josh Stephenson led the attack going 3 for 3 with 3 RBI’s and 1 run scored. Adam Nelubowich was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Northcott, Amendt, Craswell, and Bilodeau all ended the game with 1 hit each.
