JC Paquin committs to Middle Georgia College!

Senior 1st baseman and RHP – JC Paquin committed on an athletic scholarship to Division 1 JUCO Middle Georgia College Warriors in Cochran, Georgia.

Coach McTavish had this to say about Paquin, “JC has made huge strides not only as a baseball player but, overall in his development as a young man this year.  JC has probably our biggest adjustment in a programs short history with English being his second language.  He responded very well with everything that is thrown at him and we are certainly going to miss the power LHH bat in the middle of our line-up.

Muzechka committs to the PBA Dawgs!

LHP – Kyle Muzechka of Vegreville, Alberta has committed to play for the Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs for the fall of 2008.  Muzechka will be attending either the University of Lethbridge of Lethbridge Community College and is undecided on his major currently.  Kyle will be playing for recently Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame inductee – Blair Kubicek and will be competing for a Canadian College Baseball Championship.  PBA has a tremendous track record of developing Canadian players for the rigors of college baseball and sending them on to very good 4 year schools in the United States.

Coach McTavish had this to say about Muzechka, “Kyle has did everything we ask in our athletes while attending our program.  He is a good student, quality citizen, and puts a tremendous amount of hard work into his development as an athlete.  Kyle is a great fit for PBA and I think he has a bright future.  He is a LHP that knows how to pitch and over time should develop into a very quality left handed arm for the Dawgs.”

The VAB would like to congratulate Kyle on his committment to PBA and we wish him all the success!
