Jets split with PBA again to finish 2-2 on the weekend!

Lethbridge, AB –

You couldn’t ask for better weather for a September fall double header in Lethbridge.

Game 1 saw the Jets lose by a score of 3-2 and won game 2 by a score of 6-4.

Game 1 saw Carlin Dick start on the mound going 3 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 run with 1 BB and 3 K’s.  Maddox Mateychuk threw 2 innings allowing 0 hit, 1 run with 3 BB’s and 2 K’s.  Justin Adamoski finished things off going 1 inning allowing 2 hits, 1 unearned run with 1 K. Offensively, the Jets were led by Josh Malainey who was 2 for 3.  Max Grant was 1 for 2 with a double and an RBI.  Dayton Peters rounded out the offense going 1 for 2.

Game 2 saw the Jets win by a score of 6-4.  Reece Keller started on the mound and earned the victory going 4 innings allowing 1 hit with 5 K’s and 0 BB’s.  Tyler Boudreaux threw 2 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 earned run with 2 BB’s and 1 K.  Matt Wiggins earned the save throwing 1 inning with 1 K.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Josh Malainey who was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.  Max Grant was 1 for 3 with an RBI.  Evan O’Toole was 2 for 3 with an RBI.  Nick Gravel was 1 for 3.  Ty Wevers was 2 for 2 with a double and an RBI.  Logan Grant was 2 for 3 and Logan Domanski was 1 for 3 to round out the offence.

Next up for the Jets is 16 players are heading to the T12 and 3 players to the Alberta top 40.  Exciting times for the Jets.
