Tough 6th inning costs the Jets!

Vauxhall, AB –

The Jets scored 2 runs early but didn’t manage to add much more.  Cardinals scored 6 runs in the top of the 6th inning holding onto a 7-3 victory over the Jets.  Levi Abbott started on the mound going 5 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 run with 7 K’s and 0 BB’s.  Josh Tardif took the loss going 2/3 of an inning allowing 3 hits, 5 runs with 2 BB’s and 1 K.  Reece Keller finished things off going 1 1/3 innings allowing 2 hit, 1 run with 2 K’s.

Offensively, the Jets were led by Josh Malainey who was 1 for 4.  Ty Penner was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.  Kaiden Cardoso was 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI.  Shayne Campbell was 1 for 3 with an RBI.  Owen Harms was 2 for 3 and Dayton Peters rounded out the offense going 1 for 3.
