Okotoks, AB –
The Jets won a couple game in Okotoks vs the Dawgs Academy on a cool fall afternoon. Game 1 Ben Erwin started and went 4 1/3 innings allowing 1 hit, 2 unearned runs with 2 BB’s and 3 K’s. Zach Newman earned the victory going 2 2/3 innings allowing 2 hits with 1 BB and 4 K’s. Offensively, the Jets were led by Liam Vulcano who was 2 for 3. Brett Mercier was 1 for 4. Damiano Palmegiani was 2 for 3 with double and 3 RBI’s. Victor Cerny was 2 for 4. Kaiden Cardoso was 1 for 4. Owen Harms was 1 for 4 to round out the offense. Lethbridge, AB –
Game 1 was a low scoring affair until the 6th inning with the Jets holding onto a 1-0 lead PBA score 2 runs before the Jets responded with 8 runs in the top of the 7th to win by a score of 9-5. Game 2 was a back and forth affair before the Jets fell to PBA 7-6. Overall, a solid weekend especially with so many bodies away with the JNT in Florida.
