Jets split at home vs PBA!

Vauxhall, AB –

Game 1 saw the Jets up 1-0 after 5 innings but a 5 run 6th inning for PBA cost the Jets.  Ben Onyshko started on the mound going 4 innings allowing 0 hits, 0 runs with 5 BB’s and 4 K’s.  Jesse Borden took the loss going 2 innings allowing 3 hits, 4 runs, 3 BB’s and 2 K’s.   Ben Kennedy threw the final inning clean.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Anthony McKinley who was 1 for 3.  Nolan Rattai was 1 for 2 with a double and an RBI.  Brayden Resch was 2 for 3 with a 3 run HR.  Brett Harrison rounded out the offense going 1 for 2.

Game 2 saw the Jets come out on top 4-3.    Nick Stobbe had his best start as a Jet going 5 innings allowing 5 hits, 1 run with 1 BB and 2 K’s.  Nelson Quark earned the save going 2 innings allowing 2 hit, 1 earned run with 1 BB and 2 K’s.  Offensively, the Jets were led by Jager Toffan who was 1 for 3.  Nolan Bumstead was 1 for 1 with an RBI.  Brayden Resch was 1 for 3 and Trey Grant rounded out the offense going 1 for 2 with a 2 run HR.

The Jets travel to Lethbridge to play the PBA tomorrow with a 12 noon DH.
