Jets split in Lethbridge!

The VAB Jets split a pair in Lethbridge today.  Game 1 saw a late game comeback by PBA to earn the 6-5 victory.  Steven Inch started on the mound to earn the no decision going 4 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 unearned run with 4 K’s and 2 BB’s.  Kyle threw threw 2 1/3 innings of relief allowing 4 hits, 4 runs but only 2 earned, 2 K’s and 2 BB’s.  Tanner Craswell took the loss in the final 1/3 of an inning.  Offensively, Adam Nelubowich was 2 for 3 with a walk, JC Paquin was 1 for 2 with a HBP.  Collin Amendt, Josh Stephenson, Mark Clauson, Chad Northcott and Lionel Morrill also had 1 hit each.

Game 2 saw the Jets come out on top with a 2-0 victory.  Brandon Petite was very solid in his start to earn the victory on the mound going 5 innings allowing 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 BB’s and 6 K’s.  JC Paquin earned the save in relief going 2 innings allowing 2 hits, with 0 BB’s and 2 K’s.  Offensively, Jean-Guy Bilodeau led the way offensively going 2 for 3 with a triple and double and 2 RBI’s.  Mark Clauson was also 2 for 4.  This was most likely the most complete game the Jets have played all season.

With the split the Jets now have 2 wins and 3 losses.  Next action is Saturday March 29th in Twin Falls, Idaho starting at 5 pm.

Several Jet players are pretty banged up so getting healthy is a major priority this coming week.
