Game Highlights:

Sunday started off just how we left off on Saturday.  On the mound Kyle Muzechka gave us 3 solid innings to earn the victory.  Kyle allowed 4 hits, 3 earned runs with 2 K’s and 1 BB.  Tyler Vavra threw outstanding in relief going 3 innings allowing 1 hit, no runs, with 4 K’s and 2 BB’s.  Tanner Craswell earned the save going 1 inning allowing 1 hit with 2 BB’s but, induced a 6-4-3 double play to end the game.  Offensively, we were led by Lionel Morrill who was 2 for 4 with an RBI triple, 2 runs scored and a SB.  Cooper, Nelubowich, and Anderson all added one hit a piece.

Game 2 on Sunday did not start out the way we wanted it to .  We found ourselves down 6-0 after the 1st inning.  Jamin Heller got the start on the mound going 1 inning, allowing 4 hits, 4 earned runs.  Cole Stober went 2 2/3 innings allowing 7 hits, 6 earned runs, with 3 K’s and 2 BB’s.  Tyson Denham also threw 1/3 of an inning allowing 2 hits, 3 earned runs, and 3 BB’s.  Offensively, we only managed 1 hit – Brandon Petite who ended the game 1 for 2 with a double and 2 RBI’s.

Overall, it was a very successful weekend against very good college competition – 2-1-1 was our record.
